बच्चों के लिए योग शिक्षा , भाग 2 का संकलन ऐसे योग शिक्षकों को प्रेरित करने के लिए किया गया है जो बच्चों के साथ काम करना चाहते हैं ताकि वे बच्चों को भविष्य के सृजनात्मक एवं भावनात्मक रूप से जिम्मेदार नागरिक बनने में मदद कर सकें । प्रथम दो खण्डों में शिक्षा के , जो कि बच्चे के जन्म के पूर्व ही शुरू हो जाती है , वास्तविक लक्ष्य तथा विशिष्ट आवश्यकताओं वाली शिक्षा में योग की भूमिका पर चर्चा की गई है । तीसरे खण्ड में , भारत में युवा सशक्तिकरण की दिशा में किये गये दो सफल प्रयोगों- बाल योग मित्र मण्डल , मुंगेर और कन्या तथा बटुक परियोजना , रिखिया के बारे में बतलाया गया है । चौथे खण्ड में आसन और प्राणायाम तथा सभी वय के बच्चों के लिए उसकी उपयोगिता के बारे में विस्तृत चर्चा की गई है , जैसे , खेल एवं कला के क्षेत्र में योग , योग निद्रा और ध्यान , उनकी रुचि और कल्पनाओं को प्रोत्साहित करना । सबसे महत्वपूर्ण बात है कि इसमें सीखने की सहज विधि का प्रयोग करके योग की सम्पूर्ण प्रक्रिया एवं शिक्षा को बच्चों के लिए एक खेल के रूप में किया गया है । रेखाचित्रों और उदाहरणों को भी सम्मिलित किया गया है । Yoga Education for Children, Part 2 has been compiled to inspire yoga teachers who want to work with children to help children become future creative and emotionally responsible citizens. In the first two sections, the role of yoga in education, which starts before the birth of the child, the actual goals and specific needs have been discussed. In the third section, two successful experiments in the direction of youth empowerment in India - Bal Yog Mitra Mandal, Munger and Kanya and Batuk Project, Rikhiya are described. The fourth section discusses postures and pranayama and its usefulness for children of all ages, such as yoga, yoga nidra and meditation in the fields of sports and arts, encouraging their interest and imagination. The most important thing is that the whole process of yoga and education has been done as a game for children, using an easy method of learning. Drawings and examples are also included.
