Section-III deals with Pteridophytes, Gymnosperms and Elementary Paleobotany. but particular attention has been given to Psilopsida, Lycopsida, Filicopsida, Cycadales, Coniferales and Gnetales. The entire subject matter is co-related with well labelled self-explanatory diagrams and simple drawing sketches. The text is well illustrated, well-equipped and comprehensive.
