Sara Gilbert · Jaico Publishing House
Did you know… Apple – the company behind your iPod, iPad, iPhone – began as a project shared by two ambitious boys in their computer club? When Steve Wozniak designed a computer in 1976, his friend Steve Jobs immediately saw its potential for a mass market. They found their first ‘customer’ at their local hobby club meeting and Apple Computer was born. Over the next 30-plus years, their company would transform the computer industry. We bring you the story about the origins, leaders, growth and products of Apple, the computer giant that was founded in 1976 and went on to revolutionize the way we work, communicate or even listen to our music. Jaico Publishing House’s creative companies series explores how today’s great companies operate and inspires young readers to become the entrepreneurs and businessmen of tomorrow.
