Geomorphology has been prepared in accordance with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020 curriculum, with the primary objective of meeting the academic needs of undergraduate students. It is a humble attempt to present the prescribed syllabus in a simple, systematic, and student-friendly manner. recognizing that many learners find it difficult to consult large reference books where relevant topics are spread across different chapters. The book has been written in clear and easy-to-understand language, with concepts explained logically and supported by well-labelled diagrams, illustrations, tables, and figures to facilitate effective learning. While this book is primarily intended for undergraduate students, it is hoped that it will also be useful to teachers, faculty members, and aspirants preparing for competitive examinations such as UGC-NET, SLET, UPSC, APPSC, and other state and national-level examinations.
