I have always considered it completely inhumane to use medicines developed by brutally killing or inflicting pain on other innocent creatures for the treatment of human illness or to relieve suffering. Humanity demands that humans become as non-violent as possible in every field. Therefore, in the medical field as well, non-violent, vegetarian, and low-prescription medicines should be used as much as possible. To give concrete form to this sentiment, I have written this book, "Non-Violent Medical Practices." The spirit of humanitarian non-violence and compassion played a major role in the writing of the three previous books (1) Essence of Indigenous Medicine, (2) Miracles of Indigenous Medicine, and (3) Sun Ray Therapy. The non-violent medical practices included in this book are: (1) Swara Therapy, (2) Swamutra Therapy, (3) Finger Mudra Therapy (treatments using yogasana, pranayama, acupressure, touch therapy, sun ray therapy, and color therapy, etc., have been included in previous books). In addition to the inclusion of non-violent healing methods, a notable feature of this book is its "medicine-free treatment." Although it is my practice to verify the authenticity of any treatment before publishing it, I humbly request that any reader who has experience confirming these authentic treatments, please write to me for the public good so that their experiences, along with their names and addresses, can be included in the next edition of the book.
मानव रोग-चिकित्सा अथवा पीड़ा मुक्ति के लिए अन्य मासूम प्राणियों की क्रूरतापूर्वक हत्या करके या पीड़ा पहुँचाकर निर्माण की गई दवाओं का प्रयोग करें, इसे मैं सर्वथा अमानवीय मानता आया हूँ। इंसानियत का तकाजा है कि मनुष्य हर क्षेत्र में अधिक से अधिक अहिंसक बने। अतः चिकित्सा के क्षेत्र में भी यथासम्भव अहिंसक, शाकाहारी और अल्पारम्भी दवाओं का इस्तेमाल करना चाहिए। इसी भावना को मूर्त रूप देने के लिए मैंने यह पुस्तक 'अहिंसक चिकित्सा पद्धतियाँ' लिखी है। इसके पहले लिखी गई तीन पुस्तकें (१) स्वदेशी चिकित्सा सार, (२) स्वदेशी चिकित्सा के चमत्कार, (३) सूरज किरण चिकित्सा लिखते समय भी मानवता मूलक अहिंसा और करुणा की भावना का प्रमुख योगदान रहा है। प्रस्तुत पुस्तक में जिन अहिंसक चिकित्सा पद्धतियों को सम्मिलित किया गया है, वे हैं-(१) स्वर चिकित्सा (२) स्वमूत्र चिकित्सा (३) अंगुली- मुद्रा चिकित्सा (योगासन प्राणायाम, एक्यूप्रेशर-सार, स्पर्श-चिकित्सा, सूर्यकिरण और रंग चिकित्सा आदि द्वारा उपचारों को पूर्व पुस्तकों में स्थान दिया गया है)। अहिंसक चिकित्सा पद्धतियों के समावेश के अतिरिक्त इस पुस्तक की एक उल्लेखनीय विशेषता है 'बिना दवा के इलाज'। यद्यपि मेरी आदत किसी भी उपचार को प्रकाशित करने से पहले प्रामाणिकता की कसौटी पर कसने की है. फिर भी इन प्रामाणिक इलाज की पुष्टि का अनुभव किसी पाठक के पास हो तो उनसे मेरा विनम्र निवेदन है कि वे अपना स्वानुभव लोकहितार्थ मुझे लिखकर भेज दें ताकि उनके नाम पते सहित पुस्तक के अगले संस्करण में उन अनुभवों को स्थान दिया जा सके।
